Not to get all political etc. but surprised to find that typing in "famous writer" and "famous actor" returns Trump's face as the 2nd and 3rd image. Not sure how that algo works but apparently someone does.
What is intreguing - and not at all political, beyond however SEO is such - is that he also shows up on googledotca on the image carousel about half way in the third set of pics between Sylvia Plath and Lewis Carroll. The question, of course, is why? I don't much care but it is edge cases such as this that show the cracks of an algorithm, which can be useful to those that play that game.
I do not get that on google.co.uk, but I do get Obama in the images for "famous writer".
To be fair, it would seem that in both cases "famous" is heavily weighted over "writer". Shouldn't Shakespeare be the No 1 choice? I could think of several dozen others listed before either politician.
