I am not sure how many people feel this way, but I really do not like the experience of the searching on the site.

Please make this more integrated and better.

Also, UserVoice is a great tool for getting feedback on the site and features to improve it. I would suggest you embrace a concept of getting continual improvement to the site versus this "Once in 10 Years" approach.

I definitely agree with tfanelli.

It doesn't matter how good the content is on a site like this if you can't find it (or if it's hard to find search functionality). When sites have poor or hard to find search abilities I usually have to go to google and type in site:webmasterworld.com "phrase here" + keywords.

Kind of annoying and non-efficient.

Second this one.

Hey, tfanelli, at least it wasn't like a few years ago when the answer was to use Google and do "site:webmasterworld <your search>", so props to Brett and the gang for making real search on the site.

But it needs to be better, mainly be being more integrated with the forum, and hopefully ranked for relevancy based partly on how recent the post is, tags (another suggestion elsewhere), and on how popular or useful the post is judged by users (another suggestion elsewhere).

Overall, less noise is the goal; the right content with direction to the posts in the thread that people really like would be a few small but very valuable additions.
