Receiving payments from China via alipay

I have read several discussions about eCommerce in China and how to setup eCommerce website for China as foreign invested company.

I had contact with alipay, they DO offer cross-border payments now.

This means you can have an online shop in Chinese langauge, hosted overseas, receive payments by Chinese customers in RMB, alipay will receive the payment and transfer it to one of their partner banks outside China in foreign currency.

Even if they dont offer lots of information about it in English language, just contact their customer service via email in English language and a few days later youw will normally get an answer by their International Business Department.
Of course they will check your current online shop and its their decision to accept or decline a partnership.
In my case I sent them a link to the English language shop, a short presentation about the products and service I plan to sell towards Chinese customers and they accepted. Atm we are about to buildup the Chinese version and will use alipay as payment provider during the testing phase.
We are working on the ICP-license as well and plan to host inside China (we already registered a company in China).
