I've made an inline css menu and it works great - with one minor problem though.
In IE6 the browser ads some extra pixels (to the right I think) to the background in the "current" state.
Does anyone know about this pixel-jog or what it is - and how do I remove it?

Here's the code:

#nav-container ul{
margin:0;
padding:0 0 0.2em 0;
list-style-type:none}

#nav-container li{
display:inline;
margin:0 1em;
padding:0.2em 0.3em}

#nav-container li a{
font-weight:bold;
text-decoration:none;
color:#fcfcfc;
background:inherit}

#nav-container li a:hover{
color:#06261a;
padding-bottom:0.2em;
background:#fcfcfc;
text-decoration:none}

#nav-container li.current{
color:#06261a;
background:#fcfcfc;
font-weight:bold}

It's hard to be a perfectionist and being forced to work with IE6 - makes me wanna call Billy G. and tell him what i really think of his browsers!
