I've been an affiliate on CJ for ages, but never an advertiser. I know I can track info by each advertiser and even to the product level the number of impressions, click thrus sales and such.
I was wondering what advertisers are able to see on their reports. Specifically are publishers identified by name? Can they see individual publisher stats, in particular specifically page impressions and CTR? Is there any way to avoid them at least not seeing our page impressions? I think I did it accidentally once by deleting part of the link code (a 1x1 pixel image at the end of the link?). We don't get the info on our reports that way either, but we already know what our impression stats are. Does this invalidate the link though? For instance if CJ sees 0 impressions and lots of click thrus.
The reason I want to know is that we recently were actively pursued and immediately manually accepted by a CJ advertiser who is closely associated with a major competitor of ours in a highly competitive parallel niche, and we do not want them to have specific info on our website traffic (i.e. how often their ads appear and/or on which of our pages) to report to the competitor if that is part of their motive as we suspect.
