MediaPost News has just published a story based on a forecast by the Publicis ZenithOptimedia Group. The story is headlined "Online Ad Spending Rises At Double-Digit Rates, Gains Share Vs. All Other Media," and it quotes Publicis as predicting that Internet ad spending will grow 10.1 percent this year, a jump of more than 1.5 percentage points over its April forecast. Online's anticipated gain of 2 percentage points in market share will come at the expense of other media, all of which are in decline.
