I posed this question to a Microsoft Ad Center rep. last week, and was informed that there has been no internal communication about scaling back, merging, or ending the Ad Center platform.
My initial understanding based on the press releases was that Yahoo would serve ads on both Yahoo and Microsoft owned results pages. However, looking back I can't remember any mention of what would happen to their respective content networks.
Regardless, don't you think that with the amount of money involved there would be a little more clarity about what's to come. Microsoft wants me to go through a major overhaul of my account including a surge in ad spend. Why would I invest my time on that if the system is going to fold in the coming months?
