I currently get a 30% conversion rate via YSM yet there is one referrer that NEVER converts at all and always sends traffic in a flood. Naturally, I blocked that site when the Ad Delivery report became available and exposed it. However, every 3 days or so I get traffic from this referrer again under a new domain and have to repeat the process. I've told Yahoo about this and they acknowledge that the traffic is bogus (and have given me a credit), yet they do nothing to prevent it from re-occurring. So, every week or so I have to submit a request to their click quality team to evaluate the clicks (which takes 7-10 days). My question is why wouldn't they just ban this site from their network since it is obviously fraudulent. Does this happen for anyone else? I can't even begin to describe how much of a nuisance (and opportunity cost) it is to constantly have to monitor this situation to prevent myself from being hosed.
