Yahoo+Microsoft: Future of Yahoo PPC?
Will accts be rolled over into Bing PPC?

Anyone have any idea about the future of Yahoo PPC? Accounts will probably be rolled over into Bing PPC. But we have accounts for clients in both Yahoo and Microsoft PPC. I wonder how that will work.

i read they hope to close the deal by early 2010, and will transition to bing search within six months after it closes. migration from panama to adCenter platform won't happen until almost 6 months after that.

personally, i'll be happy to not have to optimize my campaigns in crappy panama. it will be nice to manage via editor and desktop only, although desktop still has a bunch of improvements that still need to be made.

i'm curious to see what happens to CPCs though. it would seem throwing more advertisers into one platform (adcenter) would create increased demand and therefore higher CPCs. it will vary by vertical but we'll have to see how it plays out.

I like some of features of the current yahoo's interface, i hope that they keep some. As for the msn dt editor like pppcbuyers says it is a work in progress, it is slow with some useless features and some good ones. what the heck they should just copy adwords editor and that's all lol
