Yahoo Adv. API, Get hourly Keyword data?

So, I'm looking around, and looking around. Wondering why I can't get hourly keyword data returned. Averages for the day sure. But am I missing something here. I've looked up and down reports api and cannot find anything that will spit out an hourly total.

Would I need to run a keyword report every hour on the hour and then do some math to figure out an estimate of what happen that hour. Doesn't seem right and would burn through API limit quickly.

I just want to figure out the exact cost of a click for that period of time. I store the keyword id when the ad is clicked but then can only get an average for the day on the back end with reports API.

Please tell me I'm missing something.

yeah, that would be too convenient... kinda like sure we could provide the campaignId in the GetKeyword method but, nah. They don't need that We're giving them AdGroupID.

one hard way around the issue is to run the campaign in different time intervals and go from there. I chunked out the day into 3 segments, midnight to 8AM, 8AM to 4PM, 4PM to midnight, and ran the account at different intervals on different days. It became pretty obvious which campaigns had better ROI on a certain segment versus no change at all. And since Yahoo does not have timer function, you will need to build your own Yahoo API application to turn things on and off for you..

That's a great idea PPC. I'll think about that one for sure if client doesn't like the daily totals.

Thanks.
