OK,great, I understand why this is news for the SEM community - have Y!'s keyword suggestion tool helps with keyword expansion. Question, though - does anyone care to speculate as to what, if any, other significance this has? Why was it offline for 4 months, and what might it mean that it is back up? Does this mean anything in terms of what's going on with Panama?

why is this on the front page? Who said inventory.overture.com is back? It's not back... my sources there say it's no longer valid as they add traffic partners not being counted in their old system.

still Jan 2007 for me too someone in the other thread said that they received an email back from Yahoo on the death of the tool . . any official announcements floating around?

No official announcements. The word is this tool/counts will not be updated going forward. There is potentially another tool in the works but will not be released until later this year or next year. Once again, this is not a guarantee.
