rusty, that's not what I'm talking about. Here's what Yahoo says under: "How do I set up my feed to automatically notify Yahoo! whenever I update my site?" [publisher.yahoo.com...] ...and the documentation is just flat wrong, the server http://ping.feeds.yahoo.com/rss/ping is no longer there.

Yahoo has been polling my feeds even though the ping APIs are down. However, what made me start looking at the APIs in the first place is a couple of days ago the feeds were 15 hours behind, then they pulled it (finally) and yesterday it got as bad as 28 hours since pulling the feed. I'm not actually sure where the problem was, if they pulled it and delayed publishing or what, but without the API there's no way to make sure it gets pulled. Today it seems to be back to real-time so far, at the moment anyway, only time will tell if it's back to normal or not.

Nope, still seriously messed up. Today shows last update being 17 hours old, the "refresh" in My Yahoo! doesn't do squat either. Guess this is how the beginning of the end of Yahoo! starts, not with a bang but a whimper of broken documented APIs and seriously delayed RSS pulls. It was nice while it lasted...

The Yahoo RSS Feeds for blogs is broken YET AGAIN! It was about 10 hours behind yesterday, now it's 6 days behind, so not only was it not keeping up it seems to have lost almost a week of history. Is anyone awake at Yahoo? Hello? Your site is BROKEN!
