i don't think that would be a reason for Google to "see your site"?
meaning that having your link in Yahoo's directory isn't going to get you in problems in Google. the easy way is not to pay them they will remove you the next time the money is due ;) if your site is having issues in Google have a look around in the Google Forum and see if your site is suffering any known design issues that you might have over looked. Lots of very useful help there. or you could join up here and ask for a site review in the supporters forum. (shameless plug) Vimes.
