Yahoo Calendar reminder emails have stopped.

The email reminders set up in my Yahoo calendar have suddenly stopped. All the settings are correct, including the time settings and the email address - but despite several tests the reminders don't come through. I've tried setting up an alternative new Yahoo account with all identical calendar settings as my main Yahoo account and this new account does work - emails are sent to the new Yahoo email address. But exactly the same settings for the calendar on my main Yahoo account don't produce any reminder emails! Can't understand it. Grateful for any ideas. Thanks
