You see Yahoo when it first came out was paying really high and then after 2005 they wised up or at least on my account and my earnings dropped down maybe an 1/8th.
So for the next year I had rising impressions, but my clicks never seemed to increase. In fact the entire time I was on Yahoo my clicks stayed about the same, I thought that was hilarious because every so often I would switch to google ads and see something like 12 times the amount of clicks.
Come the end of the year my impressions were now 4 times what they were a few months earlier however my clicks never increased, to think with an increase of 4 times the impressions you would at least get 20 more clicks that would be noticeable but that was not a fact.
Finally Christmas morning, (the email was sent earlier i just hadn't read my mail) I open up my email and there it is... claiming the funniest thing: Click Fraud. I don't usually get all pissed off about things, but when a company claims I get 1/12th the clicks that google does, the only one click frauding is them.
The real reason is because my site didn't meet up to the standard, its not my fault i don't get more clicks when they are not tracking them ;).
Lastly they refused my appeal as my account hasn't done anything really wrong except fail to make them money I guess...
once there out of beta maybe I apply again... but until then :(
I kinda wish like microsoft or someone else would get in on it, at least make it more competitive...
I'm doing some research on a possible competitor, can you give me a hand with it?
I probably can't provide a link to it, I'm not sure if that would be violating the TOS, but it's in the Google World / Google AdWords and the thread is "What would it take?"
...Okay, I checked the guidelines, I think it's okay since it's not leading to an outside domain:
