Yes, I have ad targeting turned on. Also, ad blocking. These features are not helping. A page about "blue widgets" is turning up YPN ads for "purple wodgets in el paso" or "skin care products on Jupiter" Its like a big joke LOL

I've noticed some of our ads running on footwear websites and we are in the auto parts biz. Very strange.

Yes, and I have seen shoes with wheels on them. Seems well targeted to me :)

The past two days the CTR on my sites have been simply awlful! It has never been great but now it is getting rediculous.

Targeting took forever to take hold but it finally did after re-writing content to be very specific. Nothing extraneous on a page at all. Even today, though, it can take a day or two for ads on a new page to target well. The ad blocking does not work at all.

geesh the ad blocking still not working. If they want to make money for the company, they need to get to work on fixing these bugs. Absolutely ridiculous. I decided to give the ads a few extra days, since the product is still in beta, but it is time to go back over to Adsense. Definitely not good for Yahoo and it's revenue potential. The ads are just not targeted, and CTR is horrible.

i had that problem with the ad blocking filter also... after going 'round and 'round with engineering, they finally got it fixed for awhile. then it started showing up again, and the only thing that would fix it was to put the ad in the filter twice... once with the www, and once without, regardless of how the url is listed in the ad.

I absolutely agree, Yahoo is amazingly way off target, the pages are about books (history of widgets), ad targeting is books and i get "date big ladies" "perfume on sale" etc.. ad targeting had no effect whatsoever, actually it got worse...
