I wonder, could we see search come back to prominence, or even the much neglected directory.
Marissa Mayer, who earned a reputation for decisive action and intensity during her 13-year stint at Google Inc, has spent her first months as Yahoo Inc CEO quietly moving the Internet pioneer back to its roots in technology.

With Googles missteps in Search and the fact google says they are no longer a 'Search Engine but a Knowledge Engine" IMO this is a perfect time for Yahoo to return to prominence it once had. Some one needs to walk thru the open door google has given them.
Or is organic search a thing of the past?
Maybe WebmasterWorld with new ownership and the member base is in perfect position to help someone as WebmasterWorld did when google started.
