Yahoo has acquired Interclick, which makes advertising targeting and optimization software, in a deal valued at $270 million. The deal comes at an interesting time considering since Yahoo is often rumored to be an acquisition target.

Interesting. Will it be a worthwhile acquisition for Yahoo? Probably not. They probably had to pay for it with borrowed money and it needs to be relative to what the other big boys are doing to be able to compete. Sgt_Kickaxe msg:4382866 12:06 am on Nov 3, 2011 (gmt 0)
- Destroy search engine, hand it over to Microsoft. - Destroy ad platform, hand it over to Microsoft. - Buy ad network? I can only surmise they'll be giving it to Microsoft soon.
