Looks like it's just about a done deal according to the L.A. Times and the Wall Street Journal: Yahoo expected to name Carol Bartz as new CEO [latimes.com] And in the WSJ: Yahoo to Name Bartz as CEO [online.wsj.com]

I did some research on this lady and from the read she is one smart cookie (pardon my french) and should make an excellent CEO. I can see some big changes coming to yahoo in the next 6 months.
