| Yahoo Inc is working to rewire the dozens of services across its site so that users can manage all information about themselves in a single place and share it with friends across the Web. "We are not building another social network," Chief Technology Officer Ari Balogh told more than 1,000 attendees at the Web 2.0 Expo conference in San Francisco on Thursday. "We are building social into everything we do." |

Ahh... the social web. Where everything you do is of interest to your "friends", and every second screen is a solicitation to invite someone else into your abstract experience. Everything is a feed, everyone is profiled. The machines watch, publish, and catalog our demographic pastimes. Combine all services into one giant playground, then let us wander in its mazement, Yahoo. What if I don't feel like sharing?

| Then you can join the grumpy club [webmasterworld.com] ;) As Bill Hicks once said, "People who hate people, come together!". Hang on, I'm not sure this is going to work...:)
