Over a year ago, I was lamenting [webmasterworld.com] that PHP did not support XSLT2. Until today I figured that was still the sad reality. Then today I discovered this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xslt2processor/ [sourceforge.net] And I notice that they've been publishing releases since last autumn, and have already released up to version 5. Why I didn't find it then is anyone's guess - maybe I was searching with the wrong keywords.

Apples != Oranges You need to purchase SaxonSA, and I'll lay odds that it's way slow, compared to libxslt.
