Need Help Understanding Headers and How to Examine Them?

I had someone evaluate my site for me. One of their suggestions regarding broken links:

"This also goes for pages you've given a 301 redirect: If you zoom in on where you're still linking to old pages, you might as well clean it at the source. For instance, the header links in your /archive page all get redirected."

I don't understand how to tackle this issue because I don't know where they "see" this issue? How do I look at the header links on a page? HOw do I fix the issue.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I probably sound like a total idiot - but honestly - I just don't know this stuff.

Two options - the visible header across the top of your web page OR the invisible header that you can view in the page source code.

If it's the first one - just mouse over the links and see where they're sending the visitor to.

If it's the second one - look for calls to resources like style sheets, javascript files, jQuery, etc...
