WordPress Popular Posts Plugin - Show After Publication Date

 4:45 am on Nov 23, 2012 (gmt 0)

Hi, I'm using the WordPress Popular Posts plugin and need it to only show the popular posts which were published after a certain date i.e. in the last 2 months.

The reason I need to do this is because I have some posts which get a lot of search traffic, and just consistently show up at the top popular posts plugin. What is the best way to only show posts published after a certain date that are popular, as oppose to showing posts which are popular across the board which would include ones that are getting lots of traffic built up over time?

Which plugin are you using? I'm using WordPress Popular Posts by Hector Cabrera and it has a setting for date range. Can pick last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 30 days, or all time.

That's actually the exact same reason I settled on that particular recent plugin.

Personally I'd use a text box widget and just build the list of posts I want to show up.

Just to clarify, it's this plugin:

I'm looking for a solution outside of the standard API, because strangely enough I don't think it handles what I need.
