I've had a site in China with WordPress on it - shouldn't be a problem. IS the webesite on a server in China?

*.wordpress.com can not be connected due to GFW. because chn gov think there are illegal content in the subdomain of wordpress.com

| No, the subdomain of *.wordpress.com is open for anybody to setup to blogs, and part of these blog owner publish a lot of content/info/rumor(which seems to be not good for gov), so chn gov wants to block. The same as *.blogspot.com

BTW: wordpress can run in china, just wordpress.com can not be accessed.

| Ya I understand wangqi, I hope those people don't loose hope -- truth cannot be suppressed forever especially in this age of globalization of knowledge. All the old-boy institutions from all facets of society are loosing their iron grip of control as more people realize they have been lied to for a long time. We are awakening.

Yes, China government banned wordpress.com, but wordpress.org is Okay.
