It overtook Windows XP in the first ten days of October with a 40.18 per cent share of the market, according to statistics gathered by Statcounter. At the latest measurement, 38.66 per cent of desktop computers in use online are powered by XP while Vista limps in on 11.21 per cent. |

msg:4374002 | 2:27 pm on Oct 13, 2011 (gmt 0) | yay! with what i see with win 8 win 7 could be the new XP with 10 years from now people saying win 7 was the best and they'll never leave it! I've upgraded to every version of windows every single time but from what i've seen of win 8 so far i might be putting the brakes on.
