Upgraded today, seemed to mess up my monitor gamma, strange.

Upgraded to Win 7 SP1 on multiple platforms today. No issues other than it reset my audio device preference to a internal card versus a USB audio attachment.

Be sure you run all other patches first, then do the SP. I have two failed patches now because I added the SP to the others in the pending update list rather than just running the others through first.

I've tried to update 3 machines so far, all up-to-date yet all have failed several times over this past week or so.
Anyone else having this issue?

No, sorry. Updated a laptop and desktop, both worked fine. The entire process takes a bit of time. You're machines aren't sleeping in the middle of the process are they?

They just do not seem to be able to contact the update server. I'm just about to try my laptop again.

I had a machine I was working on the other day and the SP1/Win7 update failed repeatedly.
I won't be getting back to that machine for a week or so but now I realize I wasn't experiencing an isolated problem

My Updates
First laptop update went ok but had to have several re-starts over a couple of hours perod during which it hung for a while however that one's working fine now.
Two new laptops this week have updated like a dream, no issues whatsoever so far.
I'm just going to try my office PC, I'll advise if there are any issues.
