I am hosted on a linux server...the site is huge with thousands of folders...but on FTP view cannot see all of the folders or files....so a setting needs to be set different in order to view all...the host does not know how and has asked me to find out the way to do this...so a number of files set to a limit to view..where, how does one change this?

Any help in this greatly appreciated!

Hi hypasha,

What is the FTP client software you use to browse the folders on the server? Also there are many different FTP implementations for Linux server: VSFTPD, Pure-FTPD, ProFTPD and a handful others. Each have their own configuration method and limits. If we know the software on the client and server side, it will be easier for us to help you in the right direction.
