Hi i set up my main domain, domain.com with B hosting company, and created a A record at cpanel, pointing a subdomain to C hosting company.

I added this subdomain into the hosting account with C hosting company.

My website works fine, if i type [subdomain.example.com,...] it goes to C hosting's files.

However, if i type [subdomain.example.com,...] it shows page not found, how should i set it up?

Thanks

[edit reason] Please use "example.com" - it will never be owned [/edit]

If you want the www.subdomain.example.com working, I think you need a CNAME record for www.subdomain.example.com pointing to subdomain.example.com
You could also do it by creating another A record for the www.subdomain.example.com, but the CNAME is better.

If you are using CPANEL, it will be a link on your control panel called "WWW pointer/ServerAlias"
