| Are all SSL cert's the same? Your SSL cert recommendation?

msg:3935955 | 2:11 pm on Jun 18, 2009 (gmt 0) | Our site is going to have a paid advertiser's section, but we need to secure this with SSL. Can I just buy one of those $12 cheapo cert's advertised by GoDaddy, and be fine? Or, is that a gimmick or con?

The only thing I didn't like was their seal was super cheesy looking but that was a few years ago when it was REALLY bad looking. It was so bad looking I didn't put it on my site.

msg:3936023 | 3:24 pm on Jun 18, 2009 (gmt 0) | Agree with BradleyT- we switched from Verisign to GoDaddy this year. The VS logo was spiffy and we used that, but don't show a logo with GoDaddy's cert. Not sure how many people even bother looking at those anyway.
