msg:3836214 | 5:03 am on Jan 28, 2009 (gmt 0) | I have a domain called "example.com" and it is already serving DNS on "Server A" using ns1.example and ns2.example.com Is it possible to create a separate DNS server using "example.com" on "Server B" using ns20.example.com and ns21.example.com? Keep in mind I don't want those servers to be slaves, they would have different zone files. Is this possible without touching the DNS on Server A? Any solutions/scenarios of making this work would be appreciated.

If you list all four, then resolution is going to be a 50/50 thing between the two sets of ns servers. All depends on what you're trying to accomplish, redundancy?
