| Creating The Layout For pdfs

This might be a stupid question, but what program do you use to create pdfs? I have Acrobat Pro 9 because it came with Dreamweaver and photoshop, but I found out it is not meant for heavy editing and layout. Please don't tell me I have to use Word...

...Any program you like, then select 'print' and from the print menu name dropdown select 'adobe pdf'.
