I have recorded a lecture on a Digital Voice Recorder that has given me a WMA file when downloaded onto my computer. I have software that can convert it to an MP3 or WAV file so I converted to MP3 since it is to be posted to our website and I thought that would take up less space. The file is still extremely large (the lecture was 40 minutes) and the hosting company says I have exceeded the space allowance due to this. Is there any way to either make the MP3 file smaller, or would the WMA be better all around?
Thanks!

If you aren't worried about it "being out there" you can upload it to a free media host then link to that.

Something like Photobucket or flikr
