I just came across a new webserver, which I found it through wikipedia, called 'Purplenova Web Server'

I installed it and although my PC was behind a proxy connection, I could host websites with flash content on it and also access some of my internal LAN applications like Bugzilla, over the internet. It also did the pointing of my domain name to my PC.

I wanted to know if anybody has tried this out before and what your experiences have been?

Thanks,
tekpn3.

..was behind a proxy connection, I could host websites ..

It's not a web server, the monthly fee the actual hosts, whose IP address your domain will be resolving to, is very reasonable making me wonder if they are completely clean of 'bot-net' type stuff like the 'softpedia' logo they use suggests.
