Okay, I know this happens all the time for Wordpress users, but I cannot find an up-to-date workaround. Anybody know how to deal with this fatal error?

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare fetch_rss() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/rss.php:1209) in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/wp-admin/magpierss/rss_fetch.inc on line 221

This is basically shutting down a crucial plugin.

Thanks,
ssling

Hmmm. Poor design. I would check to see if the function exists first (if they are truly the same exact function). If not, go ahead and define it, or include it ... whichever.
if (!function_exists [php.net]('fetch_rss')) {
function fetch_rss()
{
// function definition here
}
}
