Try Live Chat at www.providesupport.com you can invite web visitors for live chat, or visitors can request a live chat session. Not a free service, but at very reasonable price though. And you can see where your visitors are located at geographically, and which pages they are browsing right from your console.

I also use one by xigla.com called Absolute Live Support which I really like. There are many, though I don't know of a free one anywhere.

Take a look at Help Center Live (website at the obvious dotCom). It's a free live help program written in php and distributed under the GNU general public license. I'm currently testing it on a few sites, and thus far I don't have any complaints. -jlr1001
