Good morning,
Was just wondering what people have used (and liked) in the past for performance benchmarking on their sites? I have some user feedback that relates to the 'slowness' of one of the sites I manage, but I want to be able to get a benchmark of the current state, so if and when we make upgrades, I can tell if anything is helping.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Apache comes with a benchmarking tool called ab. You can do something like testing a single page (any number of times and with multiple or single attempts at a time) or you can give it a chunk of your logfile and have it pull those pages.

The site is hosted on a Win based server. Should have mentioned that to begin with. Sorry.
