WebmasterWorld Community Center Forum

Can we have a forum for "other languages and platform"
PHP, Perl, JS and Wordpress have forums, what about the rest of us?

Webmaster World has forums for a few of the most popular languages and platforms: PHP, Perl (which does not seem very active) and Wordpress.

While other languages and CMSs or frameworks (anything from Python to Drupal) may not be popular enough here to justify their own forums, what about a catch-all forum for everything else?

Apart from giving those already using/interested in the platforms, a place for discussion, I can see two other advantages:

  1. it will let us all see what platforms we do not know about other find useful[/*]
  2. it will indicate which ones may be popular enough to merit their own forums[/*]

graeme_p, thanks for the suggestion, and it sounds like a good idea.
