Well done to all involved in the deal. It sounds beneficial to all parties involved. I include the member base in that statement. I don't belive Brett would part with WebmasterWorld if it wasn't going to benefit the user. WebmasterWorld has been a gem for users who are new to the industry right through to seasoned professionals. Let's all do our part to ensure it stays that way.

Thanks again everyone.
Engine is coming over to see me next week (Nov 5-7) so we can start talking about ideas for the future..and how to share those ideas with others.
Until then, there's not really much I can say...except that I agree with with Brett said earlier in this thread...and I do understand many of your concerns, and I understood that prior to deciding to take on WebmasterWorld.
Look, Community is #1 to me.
I'm going to do all I can to preserve this community, and that means listening to, and respecting the community...and making it better when possible...all I ask is that you give me a chance to listen and to help....and please trust that I'm not going to take away from the things that make WebmasterWorld great.
I'll start next week by listening to Neil.

Yes, I too reflect what Brett said, and i'm confident we're in safe hands with Jim. It's 'our' community, so it's up to us what we make it.
He's hardly a new member, but i'd like to welcome Jim back.

My litmus test over the years for adding new features and design has been simple: if it didn't directly support member comments in some way, then it should be put on the page.
