LOL... Good to know you're human!

I'm sure all of us who have been around for very long have had one of those 'Oh s*** ... That's not really going to ... Yeah, it sure is ... That's not what I meant when I clicked ... Where's the stop button? ... Of course there's not one ... Where's my copy of the site?' moments before.

I for one definitely feel ya on accidentally hitting a button to do one thing and ending up doing something entirely different.

Anyway, hope you can look back and chuckle a bit about 'that one day' with the new cPanel. I've tried to fire myself for over things like that before, but it doesn't work out very well... Can't figure out who would re-upload / fix whatever I broke. LOL

rm -RF *

Do that in my home directory. Pause. Do a 'ls' just to make sure that I just did what I really think I did. Yep, no files left on the webserver.

Thankful for backups that day, I was.

And thanks to LiquidWeb. About 30 mins from the button press to a full restore. Utterly awesome.

Starting from scratch, it's hard to restore even a few directories in that time period, never mind a full restore. That is pretty awesome.

Ya, we have a secondary drive on here for backup. So it was a simply restore from one disk on to the other disk. It was still 20'ish gig of data.

Good thinkin on the secondary drive.

30 mins is still pretty quick though...
You could be on hold for half (or more) of that some places. (lol)

Have to move my sites one of these days so I'll definitely give them a look, cause it sounds like they're doing a great job for you.
