msg:4113723 | 1:30 am on Apr 11, 2010 (gmt 0) | Perhaps you could expand on the supposed opportunities for "abuse" that you initially mentioned, then edited out of your above post ;) I don't see the interest in having a forced "edited by" timestamps for every typo correction, and the time limit for editing a post is quite short so you can't go back too often to revise your post anyway. So in short I don't see a problem with the current setup, and a forced edit timestamp would by messy, threads would become littered with the things.
