wow! tedster is all of your favorite virtues in one package. congratulations ted - i can't imagine that commitment without "getting committed" to a government institution. just to put that into perspective, we probably have less than 20 active posters with over 5000 posts.

| Now that would be an interesting statistic to add in the mix. I know over the years I've received thousands of emails from tedster pertaining to topics being moved, etc. The man is a true diplomat and invests a considerable amount of time keeping the Google forum and WebmasterWorld in order. His email communications are a sight to behold and will make any member feel welcome no matter what occurred that caused him to send that member a Sticky. :)

You're much loved and appreciated, much more than words can possibly say. Thank you so much for so freely giving of yourself, and being such a significant and precious part of our lives.

twenty thousand is pretty amazing, but how old is ted anyway? to be able to write that much? i'm not very good at maths, but 20,000 posts at an average of 5 a day, for five days a week, even if you minus a few weeks a year for holidays etc, totals about 80,000 days which means he has been alive for 900 years! and that doesn't even include the posts which might have been deleted for whatever reason. so that means he was born around the same time as the Battle of Hastings - 500 years before computers were even invented! but well done anyway, ted.
