RSS feed for supporters forum?
Could we not have these for subscribers?

I'm doing all of my WebmasterWorld reading on mobile phone now, except the supporters forum.

Apologies if i'm missing something - but could we not have a rss feed if it's with a user name/password? if it's like the other feeds you'd still have to click through to browser to read the rest of it, which would then meaning logging in.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how would you implement RSS with a user ID and password? If you're using RSS to bring it into your RSS reader, I don't know of any RSS Readers that support logging in? I don't get it.

Not sure how commonplace or easy it is, but it does seem to be available - have seen password options on rss readers, and drupal seems to allow it.

[drupal.org...]

though could be completely wrong.

I'd be happy with having a non password feed with just the title like the others - you wouldn't be able to see anything else without a subscribers password anyway.

If anyone uses Kayako as a helpdesk, just found how easy it is to get feeds of support tickets.

Again, password protected.

There certainly are feed readers that can access password protected areas [webmasterworld.com]. I'm just not sure of what mobile apps that might be available.

I've been using viigo on blackberry for WebmasterWorld - not sure about the passwords there, but newsgator can handle them on mobile no problem.
