I just noticed... 1000 messages. These spread out over the course of 1600 days as a member here. That's about 2/3 of a post per day.

I didn't notice that my 1000th post was coming up, and I wasted it on a banal reaction about building a crawler [webmasterworld.com].

My post count is actually 1003, if you count the posts by my other personality [webmasterworld.com]...

<speech>WebmasterWorld has been an indispensible source of dev advice, collaboration, and entertainment for the past 4 years. Thanks to all of you who I've gotten to know here, and here's to the next K being more productive than my first K.</speech>

cheers,
hww

Like dude... Like sure, but *you* are like speaking in base 10, and *that* would have happened like *long* ago in octal (base 8) and just *think* how long until it hits 1000 in hexidecimal (base 16)!

:p

p.s. Oh, and congratulations to the original poster in getting to 1,000 - I'm still amazed I got to 100.

p.p.s. (Note to self - get a life).

Great, I always wonder when I will get there. It is not easy. All the best, those posts would have helped many of us. Even the posts like what Purposeinc have just posted above mine.

It made me to think and get one post closer ;)

WW is the only forum I stalk where I regularly see the word "pedantic".
