How many moderators does WebmasterWorld have? Guess, don't count!
No fair, no peekie!

It just suddenly hit me with the addition of the esteemed Go60Guy [webmasterworld.com] joining the mod crew in the Adsense forum (brave soul that he is): gee whiz, how many does that make? How many moderators are there at WebmasterWorld now?

Without counting (that's cheating!), how many would you guess there are now, as of the latest count? What do you think?

Whoever guesses right or comes the closest WINS!

What is the prize? :)

I think there are around 35 at a guess...probably more than people think.

I think there are three admins as well.

There certainly seems to be alot. Ofcourse for being a moderator you get a lot of link love. Maybe I'll go in for one of the forums at some point.

Link from

[webmasterworld.com...]

Using your moderator name to you profile for example...

greywolf to...

[webmasterworld.com...]

Which in turn has a link to his site.

Which = link love.

Not enough? Are you guys overrun? I'm only good at Affiliate stuff...haha...and there's already 3 mods there...plus the forum isn't too active these days :)

Would be difficult to have too many mods. We've all got jobs that keep us occupied for significant portions of the day. Having an extra hand or two to help out is beneficial.

Dave, I'd have to respectfully disagree that there's any such thing as "only affiliate stuff." Affiliate marketing is nothing more than a particular business model, or one of a number of marketing and revenue sources for merchants or service providers. Affiliate related specifics make up probably no more than about 5% (if even that much) of what's needed to run an effective merchant or affiliate site, or even to run PPC campaigns, for those who do DTM.

If you read down the list, it would be a challenge to find a single forum that doesn't in some way pertain, to some significant degree, to running a merchant or affiliate site:

already 3 mods there...plus the forum isn't too active these days

Of course, a good part of the activity could well be a lot of folks reading threads that have already been posted; and a whole lot that's related to the basics has already been covered. Actually, it's active enough, considering that most of what it takes for affiliate marketing is more than adequately covered in one or another of all those other forums.

Marcia...You have every right to disagree :) I was only stating what I felt I was good at! I do realise though that the sales and affiliate forum encompasses much more than just "affiliate stuff". And don't worry, it's not likely I'd be chosen to moderate that forum anyways, there'd be an outcry no doubt ;)
