Are these necessary?

I have a Win7 machine I use for development work... but have no desire to up memory, etc. on it and am looking to clean up the services and processes running.

Is there any real advantage for the NVIDA services running at startup? I do know that disabling them has no adverse affect on the computer operation, just a bit more difficult to change resolutions, etc....

There's a secondary to this.... the original install had a GTS 250... and associated drivers and "services" were installed. I later changed to GeForce 9600 GT to set up two screens... and had another set of drivers and "services" installed. Cleaning up the drivers is not the problem... it is the extra services (and that pesky user, too!)

I don't play with hardware much these days. If it breaks it's just too cheap to buy new.
