you can't, that kinda stuff is tied together.
If it wasn't the case if you had an office full of the same keyboard you'd have chaos.

Yes it's wireless.
I was advised by a Computer Store that it can be done?

the keyboard has an ID and the rx/tx has an ID, they are unique to each other and won't talk to another device.
