Okay sooo SOmething happened.....A hacker or something pretty sure it was a hacker got to my laptop and it was going crazy so I had to restart my laptop to see if anything happened....it didnt all the things the hacker did was there still... so I had to do something erashinal.... I errased my harddrive...thinking I could get it back... and welll All it says is Operating system not found.....I have two different Windows XP recovery disk....because its Windows XP....It's not doing anything! It lets me into the BIOs page...which I don't know what that is or what it does!
I really need help Because I cant stand this Acer laptop
My laptop that is broken is an IBM

A recovery CD will usually restore a machine to its factory defaults. In the BIOS make sure that the machine will boot from the CD ROM first, and then restart the machine with the CD in the drive.

If you check the manual, you may find that there is a recovery partition on the hard disk (typically a few GB). I think this can be activated from the bios - something to do with the blue key above the keyboard.
