I've been looking at some Search Appliances for sale in various places. Aside from the usual "buy beware" stuff, do any of you know if:
1. If any left-over time in the support license is transferable?
2. if I buy one used, can the box be reconfigured for my docs / network?
3. if a seller doesn't know the user / pass, is there ANY chance of getting into the box, or is it a paper weight?
4. anything else I should know? I'd love to have one, but don't really like the idea of coughing up four grand. Thanks.
