| Eliminate partition before resize the other? Resize C partition procedure |

msg:3343270 | 5:45 pm on May 18, 2007 (gmt 0) | I have C with OS and programs partitioned in 20gb and F now empty with anohter 20gb Should I first eliminate the F partition with the disk manager that comes with windows xp? Or go directly to the 3rd party software to resize C, I mean may a program resize C taking the space on F partition (I don't know how that works)

msg:3343273 | 5:50 pm on May 18, 2007 (gmt 0) | Depending on the 3rd party software, it should allow you to delete the partition and then resize C. In some programs, it may be a 2-step process (delete partition, then resize, with a reboot in between). Others may combine both steps into 1 process. Either way, the F partition will have to be deleted before the C partition can be resized to take over the space. [edited by: LifeinAsia at 5:51 pm (utc) on May 18, 2007]
