Hello all...
The company I work for, thinks of buying a small webserver to host the sites of our clients. Almost all sites are small, advertising sites, 1-10 pages, with max of 30 images each. Some sites (about 10%) have some dyamic-driven, php content, in the form of stand-alone scripts (some guestbooks or link-exchange utils for example, that work with text files or MySql db).

The server specs are: Intel Celeron, 512MB Ram, 80GB HDD, 1MB/s Bandwith (plus, apache, php, mysql for what matters).

The questin is: will this machine be able to stand the load of around 1500 sites (such as those decribed earlier), and if yes, how much more can it haddle? Our current visitors(hits) are 2k-10k daily.

Should we go for a stronger machine now, or wait till we reach some max point first? And whats that?

Looking forward to hear your opinion or advice.
Thank you.
